The 1st Tagum City Gay Summit

The City Government of Tagum, through the Tagum City Tourism Office, in partnership with the Tagum City Gay Association Incorporated, presents the latest, colorful, fun and grand festival of the city, the "Tagum City Gay Summit".

The City of Tagum, with its new administration, under the leadership of Mayor Allan L. Rellon, DPA, continues its empowerment of the different societies of Tagum, including the Gay Community led by the TCGAI; with the supervision of the Tagum City Tourism Office, led by Geraldine B. Abella, the Tagum City Gay Summit becomes its representation.

This July 29, 2013, our city will witness the launching of the 1st "Tagum City Gay Summit". The festival will run for three days with not only happy but even advocated and contextual activities. There will be pageants, variety shows, games and community service activities that everyone, no matter what gender, will surely enjoy.

This year's Tagum City Gay Summit is themed: "Embrace, Encourage, Empower". This means that we should EMBRACE who we are as individuals no matter what gender so that we can embrace others and spread love too - after all, we cannot give what we don't have. In this festival, we are also encouraged to ENCOURAGE - that we should bid ourselves and others to do more. We also emphasize our power to EMPOWER - that, united, we can push forward and improve our community.
