Hello Tagumenyo!
We miss you!


We know you’ve been busy making a living for your family and it’s been a long time since you came home. There’s a lot, really, that’s been going on here in our hometown that we’re excited to share with you!


2013 has been a great year for Tagum!
We’ve had a very bountiful and happy time back here in our City of Festivals!

The Search for the Mutya ng Tagum City is one of the highlights of Fiestagumenyo: Feast of Christ the King

Carroza y Pintados de los Carabao is a grand parade of painted water buffaloes during the UGMAD (Uma Gamiton Mag-uuma Atong Day'gon) Festival

The Davao del Norte Sports & Tourism Complex in Brgy. Mankilam, Tagum City hosts various national sporting events


It sure is fun here in Tagum! But we bet it’d be more fun when we can celebrate here with you!

This 2014, our city mayor, Allan L. Rellon, DPA, is inviting you to join us this March for a series of get-togethers, parties, tours and festivities.
  


Tagumenyo Bisa’g Asa (Tagumenyo Everywhere) is a program created by the city government especially for you, Balikbayan! It is a grand homecoming activity of Tagumenyos from different parts of the world. It will be celebrated within the Musikahan Festival week and culminated on the Araw ng Tagum, from the last week of February to the first week of March.

The Tagum City Musikahan Festival 2014 will be full of fun happenings that you and your family will surely enjoy!

Rondal-Awit: Plucked Strings Competition

We will be hosting a series of particular events for Tagumenyo Bisa’g Asa.

PAG-ABIABI: Dinner & Cultural Show
On March 6, 2014, Thursday, upon your arrival, we will ferry you from your home or accommodation in Tagum to a Dinner & Cultural Show at 6:00 – 8:00 PM

BALIK LANTAW: City Tour
If you're a balikbayan who just got home during the TRIO festivities, we will tour you around the City’s worthy destinations.

The next day, March 7, 2014, we will be accompanying you to various Musikahan Festival and Araw ng Tagum activities. You are to join the Thematic Float Parade as VIP’s! We will also get you to witness the highlights of the festival i.e. the Avenida Musika: Brassband Showdown, Pagpupugay: Musikahan Festival Closing Ceremony, Araw ng Tagum Recognition & Awarding Ceremonies and the Grand Concert & Fireworks Display.
